Ana Me Zentgraf (*in Friedrichroda, Thüringen) ist eine vietnamesisch-deutsche Künstlerin, Dramaturgin und Performerin. Sie studierte Kunstgeschichte, Medien- und Kommunikationswissenschaften in Berlin und Leipzig sowie Dramaturgie an der HMT Leipzig.
In ihrer künstlerischen Praxis verbindet sie Theaterarbeit mit Antidiskriminierungsstrategien sowie Fragen nach Zugänglichkeit, Teilhabe und Audience Development. Zentgraf arbeitet mit dokumentarischem und autobiografischem Material und interessiert sich für Grenzräume zwischen privat, persönlich und inszeniert.
Als Performerin untersucht sie Formen von Authentizität auf der Bühne und setzt sich mit Migrationserbe, insbesondere in Ostdeutschland, auseinander. Ihre Arbeiten zweifeln an der Relevanz des deutschen Theaterkanons und werfen kritische Blicke auf einen vom Stadttheater produzierten Habitus sowie die zugrundeliegenden patriarchalen und unterdrückenden Strukturen der Institution an sich.
Seit 2019 arbeitet sie in freien Produktionen in den Bereichen Regie, Dramaturgie, Bühnen- und Kostümdesign. 2023 nahm sie an der Masterclass des Radikal Jung Festivals am Volkstheater München teil.
2025 zeigte sie beim 100° Diaspora Bühnenmarathon im Rahmen von Performing Exiles an den Berliner Festspielen die autofiktionale Performance FIDSCHI RAGE, die auch beim Festival Politik im Freien Theater der Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung präsentiert wurde. Im selben Jahr war sie Gastkünstlerin bei Urbane Künste Ruhr und recherchierte zu osteuropäischer Arbeitsmigration im Ruhrgebiet, insbesondere in der Fleischproduktion.
2026 ist sie Stipendiatin des Internationalen Forums der Berliner Festspiele.

Ana Me Zentgraf (*born in Friedrichroda, Thuringia) is a Vietnamese-German artist, dramaturg, and performer. She studied Art History, Media and Communication Studies in Berlin and Leipzig, and Dramaturgy at the HMT Leipzig.
In her artistic practice, she combines theatre-making with anti-discrimination strategies as well as questions of accessibility, participation, and audience development. Zentgraf works with documentary and autobiographical material and explores the shifting boundaries between the private, the personal, and the staged.
As a performer, she explores forms of authenticity on stage and engages with migration heritage, particularly in East Germany. Her works question the relevance of the German theatre canon and cast a critical eye on the habitus produced by the German Stadttheater system, as well as on the underlying patriarchal and oppressive structures of the institution itself.
Since 2019, she has been working in independent productions in the fields of directing, dramaturgy, and stage and costume design. In 2023, she participated in the masterclass of the Radikal Jung Festival at Münchner Volkstheater.
In 2025, she presented the autofictional performance FIDSCHI RAGE at the 100° Diaspora Stage Marathon as part of Performing Exiles at the Berliner Festspiele; the work was also shown at the Festival Politik im Freien Theater of the Bundeszentrale für politische Bildung. In the same year, she was Artist in Residence at Urbane Künste Ruhr, where she researched Eastern European labor migration in the Ruhr region, particularly in the meat industry.
In 2026, she is a fellow of the International Forum of the Berliner Festspiele.
